Check Out This Kickstarter Project – Massive Darkness

Massive Darkness is a dungeon crawling board game for 1-6 players from Cool Mini or Not. It is currently raising funds on Kickstarter, and has far exceeded its funding goal.

You play as one of six distinct heroes with customizable classes in a random dungeon. You do battle with random wandering monsters, and there is a darkness mechanic that allows you to get the drop on unsuspecting foes. Hands-On with Star Wars Imperial Assault

Yesterday I had my first opportunity to pay Star Wars Imperial Assault from Fantasy Slight Games with some friends. The game lets up to five players play a customizable tactical campaign set shortly after the Death Star is obliterated.

For Honor Trailer and Alpha

Ubisoft Montreal is working on an interesting game – For Honor. Knights, samurai and vikings are locked in an eternal conflict for scarce resources.

Story mode features single player or 2-players co-op, online or split-screen. You play as one of the three races, engaging in fast-paced melee combat. You can try it now in the Alpha.

The game is currently available for pre-order. It is scheduled to release on Feb. 14, 2017.

Review: Roughly a Year of My Life with Dragon Age: Inquisition

An extended Memorial Day weekend with my wife turned out to be an excellent time to catch up on some gaming and reading. I finally finished my long, happy romp through Dragon Age: Inquisition by Bioware. After being nearly the only game I played for roughly a year I left with a decidedly humdrum feeling.
