Former MLB Pitcher on Balancing Career and Gaming

Steve Johnson is a recently retired right-handed pitcher who amassed a 6-1 record and a 4.26 ERA over 76 major league innings in parts of four seasons with the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners. The Baltimore native is the son of a successful pitcher on one of the best pitching staffs in the history of Major League Baseball (Dave Johnson). An avid gamer, Johnson recently took some time to talk about balancing his passion for video games with the demands of being a professional athlete.

Illustrator John Gallagher on Working in Movies, DC Shows, Comics and Gaming

John Gallagher is an entertainment illustrator who has worked in screen-based entertainment since 1995. His resume includes four seasons working on The Flash, as well as two on Supergirl, DC’s Legends of¬†Tomorrow, Falling Skies, Once Upon a Time and dozens of others. He also previously spent nine years working in video games at Bioware Corp prior to moving to film in 2008.

We all love characters from Star Wars and other iconic franchises, and most of us probably long to step into the shoes of our favorite heroes and villains. To actually create a great cosplay outfit takes a tremendous amount of effort and skill.
